So I think most of you know that I'm doing National Novel Writing Month. Well, even though I'm extremely behind, I've been messing around in Photoshop and making covers. I can't decide which cover to use, however, which is where I need your help. I have like seven that I didn't spend much time on, but if you pick your favorite I might work on it more and make it better :)

Summary: It had always been there. At first it was just an image; a passing flickering glimmer of a person in the artist’s shifting mind. This image, it came from the artist’s unconscious. It was the image of a man’s face; an unstable reflection, a visual replication of the artist’s mixed up feelings.

Hello. I feel like  a random post tonight.
Just been partying with Amanda Palmer on Twitter - LOFNOTC=Losers of Friday Night on the Computer. Everyone join! It's where all the cool kids are!

Music, right now. Oh my god. There's so much stuff going on to look forward to. A new Meg and Dia song just was posted on myspace, The Young Veins had their interview and new song, and both those are absolutely AMAZING! By the end of the week Greta is supposed to release a song off her new record, Cartel (who followed me and direct messaged me on twitter, omg) has a new record coming out on the 20th, there's new The Rocket Summer on the 27th, and new We The Kings on December 8th. And whenever Ryan and Jon manage to find a label, new TYV, which I am so stoked for you have no idea. Sorry, I felt the need to list all that, just to make sure I wasn't forgetting anything. Also, if you want links to any of the stuff I mentioned, feel free to ask me in the comments, but I was too lazy to go get them all right now since I don't know how many of you will read this XD

As for writing, I haven't done much lately. I have a couple standalones with melody_so_sweet, and they'll be posted whenever she gets the chance to beta; I know she's busy. And so am I. Kind of. Mostly just don't have any ideas. I was writing something along the lines of a 10-song meme, but in poem form. That may seem weird, to write a poem about a song, but it works, I don't know how. I'll post those sometime soon, probably not on the comm so they wont' be beta'd...but I don't think a poem requires much of a beta anyway.
 

Anyway, I've been feeling quite accomplished lately (posting on theselfportraitscommunity like every day because self portraits are so much fun. And I organized my deviantART today, put everything into folders and I felt very spiffy for that XD) And I felt like rambling on and on about it to whoever reads this. :)

Maybe the only thing that can change in their lives, in their relationship, is Ryan’s mind.

Author’s Note: This is the longest standalone I’ve ever written. I’ve been working on it for months and I must say I’m quite proud of it. 15k and it’s not nearly as long as others out there, but it’s an accomplishment for me. Summary: His memory fades as he remembers fading away. He remembers a voice, resounding as he dissolved. “When you’re gone, will they say your name?” The voice echoes in the emptiness. And then he’s there, here, sitting, watching from afar and unable to hear a thing.

Warning: Established character death, sadness with a kind of depressingly happy twist.

Author’s Note: I wrote this in a couple hours in the middle of the night. It’s based off The Hush Sound’s song, “That’s Okay”. This is the second time I’ve written fic to that song. I made a banner because I felt like it, even though this isn’t long in the slightest. Enjoy, and comments are the best!
